1. What information we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you are a landlord, we also collect your property details. If you are a tenant, we may collect your contact information to share with landlords when you apply for a room.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to operate Spaceify — to let you log in, show your listings, process bookings, and send you important updates about your account. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. Who we share your data with
We only share your data with third-party services that help us run Spaceify (like Supabase for our database and PayMongo for payments). We never sell your data to advertisers or marketing companies.
4. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of Spaceify may not work correctly without them.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep it.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To make a request, email us at support@Spaceify.co. We will respond within 5 business days.
7. Security
We use SSL encryption to protect your data in transit and store passwords securely using industry-standard hashing. We regularly review our security practices to keep your information safe.
8. Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email or show a notice when you log in. The date at the top of this page always shows when this policy was last updated.
